Betty Bezos is a globally recognized specialist in Information, communications and Technologies. She has demonstrated abilities in ICT project management services, technology training, telecommunications infrastructure, and data center design.
Betty is currently a Consultant and Project Manager at Bezos Technologies. She is a registered Professional Engineer, PMP, and BICSI RCDD. Betty holds a BS and MS in Civil Engineering and an MS in Education. Betty has been Involved with BICSI since 1992, and became a BICSI Master instructor in 2001 and a BICSI Certified Trainer in 2014. Betty also holds her BICSI OSP, WD, NTS and ESS credentials. Betty serves BICSI as a volunteer, and is currently the Puerto Rico Vice-Country Chair, contributor of the BICSI TDMM (Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual) - 11th to 13th editions, Education Standard, ESS Standard, and Intelligent Building proposed standard and various committees.
She has spent over 30 years designing outside plant (as an engineer with BellSouth/ AT&T), Data Centers, security/ access control, and commercial telecommunications cabling in various environments as a consultant. She has presented in ACUTA (international non-profit educational association serving colleges and universities), Datacenter Dynamics (Costa Rica), BICSI (US, Caribbean and MEA conferences), and ICREA conferences (International Computer Room Experts Association) among others. Since 1998 she has been engaged as an adjunct professor at Florida International University, teaching courses in Construction Management, Programming and Engineering.
